Self Inquiry + Shadow

Know your whole self

In this self-guided course, you will increase your understanding of what shadow is, learn how to recognize it in your life and begin the work to begin finding the sense of fulfillment you have been seeking. Our shadow is found in our relationships, families, teams and our organizations. Living without an awareness of how your shadow works is like living on autopilot – asleep at the wheel. Without cultivating a keen awareness of our shadow, we live in ways that can be reactive and disconnected from who we really are.

On autopilot you may feel like you’re doing all the right things but still have a sense of lack. Achieving goals feels incomplete or like you are missing the mark.  Life without understanding shadow can be filled with emptiness or uncertainty.  Not really feeling like the goals you have set for yourself matter or are meaningful to your life.  Life can feel hollow. Knowing your shadow and working with it can help deepen your life and bring a sense of connection and growth.

Throughout our lives we learn to suppress, hide or adapt certain elements of who we are.  This can lead to a disconnection where we eventually start to feel like the world is happening to us rather than seeing how we can show up and be present. We CAN “re-story” our lives and reconnect to the hidden parts of ourselves. Working well with shadow allows an elevated level of wholeness and vitality in all areas of your life.

Each day, for four days this course will provide you with guided readings about shadow and relevant exercises to expand your understanding of your shadow. You will learn to bring some of the most powerful parts of yourself into a more integrated way of being in the world instead of working against your self. Your more integrated way of being will not only lead you toward a greater sense of growth and connection but a broader sense of belonging in the world.
